Ashley Brown

Born and raised in Orlando, FL Ashley Brown developed a deep empathy and an innate desire to help others from an early age. Growing up, she witnessed the challenges and disparities faced by women, low-income families, and people of color. This led Ashley to complete her B.S. in Public Administration with a Minor in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. She spent her collegiate years working as a Victim Advocate and spent time interning with Organizations such as The Beta Center and Safe House of Seminole.

As an Organizational Change Management Consultant, Ashley has successfully guided organizations through periods of change and growth. She has played a pivotal role in implementing strategic initiatives, aligning teams, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration. Her ability to navigate complexities and facilitate effective communication has been instrumental in achieving organizational objectives and driving sustainable transformation.

Driven by firsthand experiences and a deep commitment to social justice, Ashley's passion lies in ensuring that every woman despite race, or socioeconomical status receives a safe and beautiful birthing experience. She passionately believes in addressing the systemic disparities and barriers that disproportionately affect Black mothers, including inadequate healthcare access, racial biases, and the high maternal mortality rates.

As a Board of Directors member for Abide Women's Services, Ashley is prepared to guide the organization in navigating growth, fostering inclusivity, and promoting social impact.

Leveraging her lived experiences and strategic mindset, Ashley will champion initiatives that address racial disparities, advocate for policy changes, and ensure that every mother receives the care and support they deserve during the birthing process. Her transformative vision and dedication to social justice will be instrumental in shaping the future of Abide Women's Services and driving meaningful change within the community.
