About

Ashley Clark, M.Ed

Ashley Clark was born and raised in Garland, Texas. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2019 with her Bachelors in Education and Masters of Education in Special Education. During her time in college, she was a leader in a faith-based sorority which served women in crisis and unplanned pregnancies. As she began to learn more about a “womb to tomb” life ethic, Ashley became more involved in this community. It was at an AND Campaign event where she first heard Cessilye speak about the idea of a consistent life ethic and anti-racism. From there, she has followed Cessilye as she founded and expanded Abide and has also served as a volunteer for Abide in the past.

After serving as a special education teacher for three years in the height of the pandemic and then having a baby herself, Ashley left teaching in May of 2023 to pursue other opportunities. It was after this that she was offered a position as the administrative coordinator, directly supporting Paige in the VP of Clinical Services role.

Ashley is married to Jahmaol and together they have a baby boy named Isaiah. In her free time, Ashley loves to read, hang out with her family and friends, and snuggle her pets, Orlando and Cleo. Ashley is SO excited to finally be working for Abide and cannot wait to continue learning about maternal health, reproductive justice, and anti-racism in the birthing world!
