I was born and raised in a small town called Ennis, Texas. My desire for community advocacy began when I was younger attending organized rallies and protests for immigration rights along with my parents and church familia. Since then I’ve had a passion to help give voice and make space for amazing communities that I have had the privilege of living within.
I am a proud Chicana that currently lives in Oak Cliff, that’s my hood! With my husband Kevin and schnoodle Bonita! I am a film photographer with a passion to capture other peoples’ stories and highlight BIPOC voices in the Dallas area and have met some amazing people turned friends along the way!
I have a professional background in administration and am excited to bring my skills to Abide along with my desire to see Sunny South Dallas continue to thrive in the maternal justice conversation! Abide gives me so much hope for the future and I am so excited to be a part of the team!
